Burna Boy has suggested that schooling is a scam after he revealed in a recent interview that nothing significant is taught in Nigerian schools. He explained that the curriculum often focuses on the white man’s history and about the Queen of England rather than on what happened in Africa centuries ago. Burna Boy justified his posture by declaring that the education system teaches its people that they are powerless and makes them feel inferior to the western world. He stressed that children and youths are taught things that are of no significance to Nigerians, adding that he wants the history of Nigeria before colonisers came to start being taught.
