A surprising admission made by Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage concerning her hit song “Somebody’s Son” has generated a huge uproar on the internet. At a concert she performed over the weekend in Lagos, Tiwa provided further details about her popular song.
The song is a popularity, especially among single women, who believe that their son would one day find them and bring them great happiness. The popular song from Tiwa’s album Water and Garri, she claims, is not what people believe it is. Instead, she claims that the song, surprise, is about Jesus.
She revealed this while on stage with Davido and other popular performers at the Budxlagos Fifa kick-off concert at the Eko hotel. In her words, She said: “I am going to tell you guys this story, When I did this song, yeah, a lot of people were like”This is a sure hit but only girls are going to sing this song, guys are not going to sing it. And they were like Tiwa you are taking a risk by making it your first single”
“So I said to them, dont worry One day I am going to tell this story. You see somebody’s son I was talking about is actually Jesus. “For real, So whether you are a man or a woman we are all looking for that somebody’s son right”
