Kwabena Asumadu, a student at the Oyoko School of Dispensing Optics who was 23 years old when he was killed in Kumasi by unidentified assailants, has been laid to rest.

This event took place on the evening of Tuesday, July 19, 2022, while he was traveling back to Offinso from Sofoline, where he had dropped off a friend at approximately 11 o’clock at night.

He was reportedly shot many times while driving an unregistered Mercedes-Benz, according to the minimal information that is now available.

After Kwabena was found dead in a suspicious circumstance, his girlfriend has been posting a series of videos to TikTok in which she expresses her sorrow over his passing. Several of the clips feature the chirpy young man cuddling up to his lady love in various passionate poses.

Speaking in a video that she had recorded herself, she urged Kwabena’s spirit to seek vengeance for his death and bring his murderers to justice.

It is believed that Kwabena, who is accused of being a cyber fraudster, was put to death by his business colleagues in the internet fraud operation because he was hoarding their profits.

According to the reports of the police, he was shot in the head and the neck. The valuables in the vehicle were not disturbed in any way by the perpetrators of the crime.

Despite the fact that no arrests have been made, the police have opened an investigation with the goal of apprehending all of those responsible. The body of Kwabena has been sent to the morgue of the Komfo Anokye teaching hospital so that an autopsy can be performed on him.
