Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke is a Nigerian politician and businessman who was born on the 13th of May, 1960 in Enugu Town, Enugu State. He was a senator that represented the Osun-west senatorial district between 2017 and 2019. He contested the 2022 Osun State gubernatorial election and defeated incumbent governor, Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola who defeated him in the 2018 Osun State gubernatorial election rerun.

Ademola Adeleke Biography
He was born into the well-known Adeleke family. His mother is an Igbo Christian named Nnena Esther Adeleke, while his father is a Muslim named Raji Ayoola Adeleke. Dr Adedeji Adeleke and Late are the names of their two older brothers. He is the third and final child. Isiaka Adeleke, please.
In Ede, the former capital of Oyo State, he attended both the Seventh Days Adventist high school and the Ede Muslim grammar school. At Jacksonville State University in Alabama, the United States, he pursued studies in political science and criminal justice. He continued his study at Atlanta Metropolitan State College in the United States because of the numerous controversies surrounding his diploma, and in 2021 he earned a degree in Criminal Justice.

In Atlanta, Georgia, USA, from 1985 to 1989, he began his professional career at Quicksilver Courier Company. He served as executive director of Guinness Nigeria Ltd from 1992 to 1999, and then from 2001 to 2016, he served in the same capacity at Pacific Holding Limited, the business owned by his brother. As vice president from 1990 to 1994, he also worked for a company that produced flavours and fragrances in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.
Ademola Adeleke Political Career
In 2001, he began his political career alongside his late brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke. He ran for office in the Osun-West by-election in 2017 following the death of his brother, and he was successful.
On July 23, 2018, he ran for governor in a byelection, which he won as the PDP’s candidate in Osun State. On September 22, 2018, he was declared the victor of the Osun State governorship election, but the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) ruled it to be inconclusive. On September 27, 2018, the state had a new election, and Gboyega Oyetola was pronounced the winner on July 5, 2019, by the supreme court.
Ademola Adeleke, also known as the Dancing Senator, won the Osun 2022 governor’s race on his second attempt, unseating incumbent Oyetola. Announcing the results at the INEC Collation Centre on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in Osogbo, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, who was the returning officer, said that Adeleke polled 403,371 votes to defeat his closet rival, Gov. Gboyega Oyetola, the candidate of the APC, who scored 375,027 votes.
